
Jimmer Fredette Called up to New Orleans Pelicans

WHITE PLAINS, November 10, 2015 - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, announced today that Jimmer Fredette has signed with the New Orleans Pelicans, becoming the second NBA D-League GATORADE Call-Up of the 2015-16 season. Fredette joined Westchester as the second overall selection in the first round of the 2015 NBA D-League Draft on Oct. 31. Westchester will retain Fredette's NBA D-League rights.
Fredette (6-2, 195) appeared in two preseason games with the San Antonio Spurs last month, averaging 2.0 points and 1.0 assists over 13.2 minutes per game, before being waived on Oct. 21.
The Westchester Knicks tip-off the 2015-16 NBA Development League season at home on Thursday, Nov. 12 at the Westchester County Center.
