The Knicks (7-11) shaved that lead to 17 before the second quarter started, 31-14. 905 remained in the driver's seat for the duration of the second charging double-digit deficits to the Knicks and established a 63-52 lead at the break.
The Knicks exited the locker room reignited and erupted for a 20-5 run by the seven-minute mark of the third to go up five on the foe, 72-67. Eventually the Knicks would credit a nine-point lead with 3:24 left in the window before a short Raptors spurt saw the teams separated by just two, 87-85, with the Knicks in front.
Four ties occurred in the fourth period with the final one stamped 99-up with 4:02 remaining. The Raptors failed to score for the next minute and were deterred by four empty possessions in waning time paling to the Knicks 12-point output to close the game.
