
Jeff Dominguez Returns to Skeeters

SUGAR LAND, Texas - The Sugar Land Skeeters and manager Gary Gaetti announced the signing of outfielder Jeff Dominguez prior to the series opener with Camden. The product of the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy hit .277 with eight home runs and 48 RBI two years ago in a Skeeters uniform.
Dominguez, 28, enters his 12th-season of professional baseball with a .250 career average, blasting 38 long balls and plating 354 runs while swiping 140 bags. He was drafted by the Mariners in the ninth-round of the 2004 draft and quickly ascended to the Triple-A level with Seattle in 2005. As a member of the Skeeters in 2013, Dominguez holds the sixth-highest single-season stolen base total with 15, is tied for seventh with 21 doubles and 10th with 55 runs scored.
