Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce that left-winger Jamie Crooks has been selected as the Tip Top Tailor-Made Player of the Month for November.

The 19 year-old counted four goals and five assists for nine points in 11 games played during the month, including his 50th career WHL goal against the Red Deer Rebels on November 12th.

"Jamie is an unheralded guy that rarely gets the credit he deserves," Head Coach and General Manager Marc Habscheid said. "He is an offensive threat for us and responsible in our end. He's a quiet leader who's a huge component of our team and he had a great month of November."

A native of Vermillion, AB, Crooks has recorded 108 pts (56G-52A) and 96 penalty minutes in 186 games played with the Victoria/Chilliwack franchise and the Saskatoon Blades.

Tip Top Tailors is the preferred men's store of the Victoria Royals. Visit them today in Mayfair Mall.

The Royals take on the Edmonton Oil Kings tomorrow night in the second of a four game road swing. Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m. Victoria resumes its home schedule on Tuesday, January 3rd when the Calgary Hitmen visit the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
