Kalamazoo Wings News Release

KALAMAZOO, MI - After a weekend sweep of the Toledo Walleye last weekend at Wings Event Center, the Kalamazoo Wings are back to work with four games during a five-day span beginning Wednesday night.

The Wings travel to U.S. Bank Arena for a 7:35 p.m. puck drop against the Cincinnati Cyclones on Wednesday night. It is the fourth meeting of the season between the two teams, with Kalamazoo picking up victories in two of the first three. The two teams haven't met since November 14, when the Wings racked up a 2-1 overtime victory over the Cyclones at Wings Event Center.

After their midweek tilt with the Cyclones, the Wings will scoot over to Evansville, Indiana, for a Friday night clash with the Evansville Icemen. It will be the last meeting between Kalamazoo and Evansville at the Ford Center, as the Icemen are set to relocate to Owensboro, Kentucky after this season. The Wings and Icemen have split the first two meetings of the season, with each team taking a victory on their respective home ice.

Returning home for a Saturday night tilt with the Fort Wayne Komets, the Wings will host Ladies' Heart Health Night, presented by WOOD TV 8, on pink-dyed ice at Wings Event Center. Fans in attendance will learn tips towards maintaining a heart-healthy lifestyle. It will be the eighth meeting of the season between the Wings and the Komets, with Fort Wayne holding a 6-1-0-0 edge over Kalamazoo on the season series.

To wrap up the jam-packed weekend of hockey, Kalamazoo hosts the Brampton Beast on Sunday, February 14, to celebrate Valentine's Day with storybook princes and princesses on the pink ice. The puck is set to drop from Wings Event Center at 4:00 p.m. It also marks the annual Kibbles and Stix Game, in which fans can bring their four-legged friends to the game for an additional $5 charge. Also included as part of Sunday's game is a post-game skate with the players, presented by Consumers Credit Union and Little Caesars.

Single-game tickets are now on sale! Tickets can be purchased at kwings.com or at the Wings Event Center box office. Box office hours are Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. A $2 discount is applied on all tickets purchased before the date of the game. Any student that shows a valid ID can get tickets for just $10.
