The Matchup: It's the second game of a home-and-home series between Odessa and the New Mexico Scorpions. The Jackalopes won the first game on Wednesday night, 5-2, in Rio Rancho, NM. This is the fifth meeting this season between Odessa and New Mexico, with the Jacks leading the season series, 3-1-0. Sebastien Thinel leads all scorers with 10 points against the Scorpions this year, that's twice as many as anyone else in the series.
The Odessa Jackalopes and New Mexico Scorpions: Odessa's Kenny Bernard scored a pair of first period goals on Wednesday night, sparking a 5-2 victory for the Jacks. The Jackalopes led 3-2 entering the third period and pulled away after Mario Joly deflected a Russ Moyer shot at 12:23 and Mike Ramsay wristed one past Andrew Martin off a Kory Karlander faceoff win at 14:01. Aaron MacInnis and Craig Macdonald each scored goals for the Scorpions. Collin Circelli was the other Jackalopes goal scorer with a goal in the second period.

New Mexico Scorpions - The Last 10: The New Mexico Scorpions are 4-6-0 in their last 10 games.
Points of Order: Mike Ramsay (four goals, four assists) and Kory Karlander (three goals, five assists) each have eight points in the last six games.
Road Tested: The Odessa Jackalopes ended a 10-game road trip, their longest of the season, on Wednesday night with their 5-2 win over New Mexico. The Jacks were 6-3-1 on their road trip.
Dynamic Duo: Jacks' forwards, Dominic Leveille (57 points) and Sebastien Thinel (57 points) have a combined 114 points this season. That is the most among a pair of players on one team in the CHL.
Winning Combination: The Jackalopes are 22-4-1 when Sebastien Thinel and Dominic Leveille each register a point in a game.
Milestone Alert: Sebastien Thinel recorded the 400th point of his Jackalopes career with an assist Wednesday night.
