Fresh off a big third period comeback and shootout win over Richmond the Jackals did not fare as well in game two of their midweek series with the Riverdogs. Defenseman David Wetherill and Jay Murphy each scored twice, and Olivier Fillion added a goal of his own as Richmond blanked the Elmira 5-0. Peter Aubry stopped 28 of 33 shots in goals for the Jackals while Maxime Gingras got the win for the Riverdogs with a 23-save performace to earn his second shutout of the season.
