IN JUST A FEW HOURS...
The Elmira Jackals will try to bounce back from their opening game loss to the Florida Everblades when they battle the Everblades in Game 2 at Germain Arena at 7:30 p.m.
The Everblades scored 39 seconds into last night's game and never looked back, going onto win 4-3.
Brendan Connolly and Yannick Tifu each had a goal and an assist in the loss for the Jackals.

AMERICAN CONFERENCE SHOCKER
Only one higher seed in the American Conference was victorious in their playoff opener on Tuesday night when Kalamazoo (2) defeated Reading (7) at home, 6-5. All four home teams won the opening game, with Toledo (8) pounding Charlotte 7-2, Cincinnati (5) throttling South Carolina (4) 6-1, and Florida (6) beating Elmira (3) 4-3.
