Jackals Answer Back in Ninth After Late Quebec Rally

A solid road trip continues for the New Jersey Jackals.

After splitting a four-game series in Ottawa against the Champions, the Jackals won its second game of this series against the Quebec Capitales on Wednesday night.

An error in the top of the first and an RBI single by DH Richard Stock gave the Jackals the early 2-0 lead.

Capitales' 1B TJ White cut the lead in half in the bottom of the inning with an RBI single to score OF JD Williams.

The Jackals saw a run come across in the top of the fifth inning after Quebec P Arik Sikula threw a wild pitch, allowing 2B Andrew Dundon to score.

Quebec rallied back down 3-1 in the bottom of the eighth to tie the game.

OF Tyson Gillies scored after an error by Jackals SS Emelio Guerrero. Later, Joe Lytle single in a run and the Caps were right back in the mix.

RP Lendy Castillo picked up his victory of the season after working a scoreless frame in the ninth.

The victory moves the Jackals to 4-2 as they go for the series sweep Thursday night at 7:05 P.M.
