Jack Campbell Named Player of the Week

(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires announced today that goaltender Jack Campbell is the Tecumseh & South Walkerville Vision Centres Player of the Week for the week ending October 2nd after helping lead the Spitfires to two comeback wins at the WFCU Centre against the Saginaw Spirit and Ottawa 67's.

Campbell, the 19-year-old native of Port Huron, MI, is playing his second OHL season with the Spitfires after recording a 24-14 record in his 2010-2011 campaign, including a 3.80GAA and a 0.884 SAV%.

Jack is currently 3-0 including a shutout against the Sarnia Sting and sits fourth in the OHL among goalies with a 1.65GAA and a .0947 SAV% in three games between the pipes for Windsor this year.
