Attack Launch Mobile Apps

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that as of today, they have launched Smartphone Applications for Blackberry, Android and IPhone users. Fans wishing to follow the team using their Smartphone can now do so with greater ease. Attack news, roster information, schedule, game results and roster information are now just a click away.

"This will definitely make it easier for our fans to follow team news and information.", stated Attack Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Brent Fisher. "More and more people look to their Smartphones for current event information and we want to be able to capitalize on that. "

The Attack App, the first of its kind in the Ontario Hockey League was designed by Buzzer Apps Mobile Solutions. "Buzzer Apps Mobile Solutions is extremely proud to have partnered with the Owen Sound Attack to produce a high quality mobile app for fans of the Attack.", stated Derrick Redden of Buzzer Apps. "Buzzer Apps is leading the way with intuitive, team branded apps for sports teams and leagues."

Fans can download the Appropriate App for their Smartphone by either going to the App World on their respective Smartphones or by visiting http://www.attackhockey.com/page/attackapp.

Fans can also download the 2011/2012 Attack Schedule to their iCal or Microsoft Outlook Calendars by going to http://www.attackhockey.com/schedule/list/time_zone/0/team/13, clicking the link on the bottom of the screen and then follow the directions.

The Attack is back in action at home on Thanksgiving Monday when they play host to the Saginaw Spirit. Game time at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre is 2:00pm. Tickets are available at www.attackhockey.com or by calling (519) 371-7452.

*Note: The Attack App on Blackberry's is only compatible with an OS5 Operating System or higher.
