Greenville Drive News Release
Greenville, SC - Due to the severe thunderstorms that hit the Upstate Friday night, the regularly scheduled game between Greenville Drive and Kannapolis Intimidators has been postponed.
The two teams will take part in a doubleheader on Saturday with first pitch of Game 1 slated for 4:05 PM, with gates opening at 3:00 PM. Both games will be seven inning affairs. Those holding tickets for tonight's cancelled game, may exchange them at the Drive Box Office for any remaining 2008 regular season home game, subject to availability.
Southpaw Nick Hagadone will toe the rubber for the Drive in the first game as the Intimidators counter with right-hander Jason Rice. In the second game, which will start one half hour after the completion of Game 1, a pair of right-handers will square off as Ryan Colvin will head to the mound for Greenville and Anthony Carter for Kannapolis.
