The Isotopes (51-57) played the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (57-48) for the final time Monday night with Albuquerque claiming an 11-5 victory at Security Service Field. Colorado Springs will become a Short-Season team in 2019 with the Triple-A franchise moving to San Antonio, Texas.

The Isotopes trailed the Sky Sox 5-3 entering the seventh inning, but RBI hits from Noel Cuevas and Josh Fuentes tied the game. Fuentes scored on a wild pitch later in the inning to put Albuquerque ahead for good.

Fuentes and Cuevas both recorded four-hit games for the evening. Cuevas belted a home run in the ninth inning in his first game back with the Isotopes since April.

Infielder Shawn O'Malley also helped spark Albuquerque's offense, going 3-for-5 with a team-high three RBI. O'Malley finished July with a .457 batting average 16-for-35) in 14 games played.

David Holman picked up the win in relief, holding the Sky Sox to three runs (one earned) in 5.0 innings. Starter Sam Howard allowed two runs and one hit in his 2.0 innings of work. The outing was Howard's first action since July 7 after spending the last three weeks with the Rockies.

Following a league-wide off day on Tuesday the Isotopes will be back in action for a seven-game homestand, starting with a three-game set on Wednesday against the Round Rock Express. Right-hander Peter Lambert is slated to take the mound for Albuquerque. First pitch from Isotopes Park will be at 6:35 p.m.?
