Isotopes Announce 2005 Promotional and Special Events Calender

The Albuquerque Isotopes will feature over 50 promotional nights on their 72-game home schedule, the team announced today. Highlights of the 2005 promotional calendar include eight fireworks nights, four hat nights, and two 50¢ hot dog nights.
Over the course of the season, fans will get the chance to receive hats, magnets, t-shirts, pennants, beanie bears, clocks, and many more giveaways at Isotopes home games. Popular performers Myron Noodleman, the Zooperstars, and Birdzerk will return this season as will 50-cent hot dog night, on April 25 and June 1.
The eight fireworks nights include a July 4 show as well as on Opening Night on April 7 and Memorial Day Weekend, May 28 and May 29. The promotional schedule also includes two bobblehead nights, with an Orbit Bobblehead Night on July 26 and Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan Bobblehead giveaway on September 1.
The Isotopes will pay tribute to the Albuquerque Dukes on June 22 with a Dukes Retro Night. The Isotopes players will be wearing special Albuquerque Dukes uniforms for the game against the Nashville Sounds.
The Isotopes begin Spring Training this week before opening the 2005 season vs. Iowa at Isotopes Park on April 7. Major League Weekend Tickets, Season Tickets and Mini Plans are now on sale. "Major League Weekend, presented by Sandia Resort, Golf, and Spa" features the Texas Rangers against the Colorado Rockies on April 1 and the Rangers against the Arizona Diamondbacks on April 2. Isotopes Park will be open to the public this Saturday from 10 am â 1 pm as the Triple-A club hosts its' third annual Open House. Individual game tickets for the Isotopes' third season go on sale at the stadium box office, as well as at all Ticketmaster outlets, on Saturday at 10 am.
