
Islanders Select Marc-Olivier Alain in First Round

The Charlottetown Islanders have selected Marc-Olivier Alain with the 18th overall pick in the 2016 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League draft held in Charlottetown this weekend.
General Manager and Head Coach Jim Hulton and Director of Scouting Gilles Tremblay announced the pick in front of the hometown crowd at the Eastlink Centre on Saturday afternoon.
Alain is a Quebec born defenceman who played Midget AAA with the Séminaire St-François Blizzard last season.
