The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will open a four-game set with the Toledo Mud Hens on Thursday night at Coca-Cola Park. First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m.

RHP David Buchanan (2-2, 4.42) gets the ball for the Pigs in the series opener. The right-hander got the win on Saturday at Toledo when he gave up one run on six hits while fanning one over his eight innings of work. Over his 6 GS this season, Buchanan has walked just six batters in 36.2 IP (1.47 BB/9.0 IP).

RHP Buck Farmer (0-2, 5.25) will be on the bump for manager Lloyd McClendon's squad on Thursday. Farmer was tagged with the loss on Saturday vs. the Pigs after giving up four runs (three earned) on five hits to go along with three walks and three strikeouts in 4.1 IP. The Georgia Tech product has also appeared in five games with the Tigers this season and is 0-0 with a 2.16 ERA.

Pigs INF Carlos Alonso had a multi-hit game on Wednesday morning including the first home run of his Triple-A career. Alonso is 3-8 (.375) over three games since returning from a DL stint for a broken jaw.

The first 3,000 fans 18 and older in attendance on Thursday will receive an IronPigs spatula. Thursday is also Bacon & Eggs Night and the IronPigs will wear commemorative "Bacon & Eggs" caps and fans can purchase raffle tickets (3 for $5 and 7 for $10) for a chance to win these special game-worn caps. All proceeds benefit IronPigs Charities. There is also an extended Happy Hour from 5-7 p.m. with $1 hot dogs, $2 domestic drafts and live music.
