Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (11-5) play Game Two of a three-game series against the Rochester Red Wings (8-8) at Frontier Field... With a 5-2 loss last night, the Pigs have dropped three of their last four games and no longer hold the best record in the International League (Gwinnett Braves, 11-4)... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- snapped a two-game skid and defeated the Pigs for the first time this season. Still, the Wings have lost six of their last nine affairs after starting 5-2 -- the first time they were three games over .500 (5-2) since 5/17/09, when they were 19-16 (they had started 5-1 that season).
RHP Austin Hyatt (2-0, 2.20) will start for LHV against LHP Scott Diamond (3-0, 1.47).
First-Pitch today is at 1:05 p.m.
With the 15-10 PAW win last night, LHV is back in a tie for first in the North -- ending an eight-day run in sole possession.
