Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The first-place IronPigs (72-55) -- who are back tied with Pawtucket atop the North* -- play Game Two of a four-game series against the West's third-place Indianapolis Indians (66-63). With a 3-1 win last night, the Pigs have won four of their last five games and have started 2-1 on this 10-game road trip. Lehigh Valley has also emerged victorious in six of its last nine contests, but remains just 31-32 since June 16 -- when they led the North by 5.0 games... The Indians -- Pittsburgh's top affiliate -- snapped their three-game winning streak against the Pigs and have now lost six of their last seven affairs. Once 11-23, the Indians have gone 55-40 since May 21...
RHP Dave Bush (1-0, 0.00) will start for LHV against RHP Jose Ascanio (1-2, 6.21).
First-Pitch is at 2.05 p.m.
VICTORY FIELD!: Going back to 6/5/09, the Pigs have now won 6 straight games at Victory Field... All-time, they've gone 10-3 in Indy.
