Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The fifth-place IronPigs (34-51) play Game Three of a four-game series against the fourth-place Pawtucket Red Sox (38-46) -- Boston's top affiliate. With an 8-2 win last night, the 'Pigs have won back-to-back contests after snapping a three-game losing streak. Although Lehigh Valley is just 4-10 in its last 14, the Pigs have won six of their last 10 at Coca-Cola Park... Pawtucket has dropped two straight, but remains 5-4 in its last nine affairs. Since June 1, the Sox have gone just 14-19... In addition, they own the worst road record in the International League (13-29, .333).

RHP Brandon Duckworth (2-3, 4.26) will start for LHV against LHP Kris Johnson (3-6, 4.94).

First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m. for Diggity Bobblehead Night, presented by Partnership for a Tobacco Free NE PA.

WITH A WIN TONIGHT, THE PIGS WILL...:

* Match their season-high, three-game winning streak (done 6/6-6/8 & 6/19-6/21)... The Pigs last four-game winning streak was back 8/20-8/23/09... The Pigs last five-game streak was during a franchise-long, 7-gamer 6/14-6/20/09

* Win a series -- just the their third of the season... It took the Pigs until 6/17-20 vs. SWB to finally win a series in 2010 -- their 19th series of the season... But, because of a 4/16 suspended game played 6/29, the Pigs -- two months later -- technically won a series in just their 3rd series of the season, 2-1, over ROC from "4/14-16."

* Improve to .500 (21-21) against the North Division -- the only Division they had a winning record against in '09.
