TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons face the Syracuse Chiefs in the third game of a four-game series from Alliance Bank Stadium (7:00 p.m.). The series is tied a game apiece as the Herd won 10-2 on Sunday and the Chiefs won last night, 8-6. The Bisons have won five of their last seven games, all against IL North division opponents.

vs. THE CHIEFS: The Bisons are 4-6 against Syracuse this season. The Herd swept a two-game set from the Chiefs at Coca-Cola Field, June 29-30. Syracuse swept a two-game set at Alliance Bank Stadium, April 12-13, and won three of four in Buffalo, May 31-June 3.

STARTING UP: LHP BOBBY LIVINGSTON is back in the rotation after making five consecutive appearances out of the Herd's bullpen. In the five outings, the southpaw was 1-0 with a 4.61ERA (7ER, 13.2IP). Livingston racked up 16 strikeouts in the 13.2 innings of work. In his last appearance, he threw two shutout innings against Syracuse on Sunday.

PADDING STATS: OF JORGE PADILLA enters tonight's game on a nine-game hit streak. The outfielder has averaged .389 (14-36) with three doubles, six RBI and nine runs scored during the stretch. The former Chief has hit .438 (7-16) with three doubles and five RBI in four games against his former team.

RUN PRODUCER: INF MIKE JACOBS hit his seventh solo home run in last night's loss. Jacobs has plated eight runs in his last seven games. The slugger is second on the Bisons with 44RBI on the season. Jacobs has reached base safely in his last nine games. Since June 27, he has averaged .286 (10-35) with four doubles, six walks and seven runs scored.

TO DUDA LIST: Last night, OF LUCAS DUDA hit his seventh home run of the season last night. Since joining the Bisons on June 14, Duda has had a hit in 15 of his 19 game appearances. In that stretch, Duda has five doubles, a triple and 20RBI. Duda was also named IL Batter of the Week for June 28- July 4.

BULLY FOR THE PEN: RHP JOSE DE LA TORRE has given the Herd eight consecutive scoreless appearances since June 15. Since then, De La Torre has only given up just one walk and struck out nine in eight innings of work.

METS UPDATE: The Mets (46-37) loss the opening game of a three-game series against the Cincinnati Reds last night, 8-6. OF ANGEL PAGAN went 2-5 with a home run in loss. INF ALEX CORA went 2-3 with a two RBI-double. The Mets face the Cincinnati Reds for game two tonight at 7:10 p.m. from Citi Field.
