The Clippers return today for a four game homestand against division rivals Toledo Mud Hens and the Indianapolis Indians. The Clippers are riding a seven game winning streak, despite Cleveland calling up Carlos Santana, Matt LaPorta, Shelley Duncan, Frank Herrmann and Michael Brantley to the mother ship.

The Clippers young double play combination is red hot, second baseman Cord Phelps is hitting .366 and shortstop Josh Rodriguez is at .339.

Jose Constanza, the fleet footed centerfielder was voted onto the All-Star team despite being the Clippers' fourth outfielder for most of the season.

Last season's batting champion Jordan Brown is heating up after missing the first part of the season with an injury.

The starting pitching has been solid with Josh Tomlin (8-2, 2.45) Carlos Carrasco (7-3), Yohan Pino (7-4), and David Huff (3-0, 1.45). Jeanmar Gomez has found his groove. The youngster is 3-0 in his last four starts with a microscopic 1.04 ERA.
