Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The sixth-place IronPigs (24-38) play Game Two of a four-game series against the third-place Buffalo Bisons (33-30) -- the Mets' top affiliate. With a 6-3 win last night, the 'Pigs snapped a three-game losing streak and have now won three consecutive contests against the Bisons. Although they've fallen in 11 of their last 17 contests, the 'Pigs are now 6-5 in the last 11 affairs... Buffalo -- which was just swept in a four-game series at Durham -- has now lost a season-high, six straight games and has gone just 4-11 in 15 contests since starting 29-19 (thru 5/28).
Former Bison RHP Nelson Figueroa (1-0, 0.00) will make his second start for LHV against RHP Dillon Gee (6-3, 4.37).
First-Pitch is at 1:05 p.m.
