Radio: WWKB AM 1520, bisons.com

TODAY'S GAME: This afternoon, the Bisons host the Lehigh Valley IronPigs in the second game of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (1:05 p.m.). The Herd lost the series opener last night, 6-3, and has now dropped six consecutive games. After a league-wide off day on Wednesday, the Bisons continue their eight-game homestand with a four-game series against Indianapolis.

HOME SWEET HOME: The Bisons are 19-12 at Coca-Cola Field this season. The 19 home wins and the .613 winning percentage are both the 4th best in the International League. As a team, the Bisons are hitting 24 points better in front of their hometown crowd, with a .288 average. Thirty-nine of the club's 61 home runs have left the yard at Coca-Cola Field.

vs. THE IRONPIGS: The Bisons trail the IronPigs 3-2 in the 16-game season series. The two clubs split a four-game set in Lehigh Valley, May 22-25. In their brief existence, the IronPigs hold the 21-16 advantage over the Bisons. Buffalo has won two of the previous four sets played here at Coca-Cola Field.

GOLLY GEE: RHP DILLON GEE is 3-1 with a 3.47ERA in his six home starts this season. The team leader in strikeouts with 65, Gee has racked up 42 of those punchouts in only 36.1 innings at Coca-Cola Field. However, Gee will be looking to snap a personal two-game skid that has dropped his record to 6-3 on the season. Buffalo is 9-3 in the 12 games Gee has started this season.

RUN PRODUCER: INF MIKE JACOBS has driven in a run in four straight games. He drove himself in last night with his eighth home run of the season. Jacobs also has 10RBI in his last nine contests. The slugger's 32RBI on the season are second on the team to only INF MIKE HESSMAN'S 57RBI.

KEEP ON TURNIN': INF JUSTIN TURNER has reached base in all 15 games he's played with the Bisons. The infielder hit .250 (21-84) in 23 games with Norfolk to begin the season, but has a .322 (19-59) average in his time with Buffalo. The 15-game on-base stretch is the 3rd-longest active streak among players in the International League. Turner has also walked five times and only struck out twice with the Herd.

METS UPDATE: The Mets (34-28) won their third straight game with a 3-1 victory last night over the Orioles. New York got home runs from INF JOSE REYES and OF JEFF FRANCOEUR in the win. LHP HISANORI TAKAHASHI allowed just one run in seven innings to push his record to 5-2 on the year. The Mets will look for the three-game sweep of Baltimore today at 1:35 p.m.
