
IronBirds Announce Playoff Roster

Aberdeen IronBirds News Release
Aberdeen, MD- The Aberdeen IronBirds, champions of the New York-Penn League's McNamara Division, have released their playoff roster.
The IronBirds will play their first ever playoff game tonight at Ripken Stadium against the Tri-City ValleyCats. The ValleyCats are the Class A Short Season affiliate of the Houston Astros.
Sebastian Vader will get the start for the IronBirds, after he went 7-3 during the regular season with a 2.43 ERA. He set a franchise record for most wins in a single season by a right handed pitcher. The ValleyCats will send Michael Feliz to the mound with a 4-2 record and 1.96 ERA. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
There will be a limited number of rally towels given away to fans as they enter the Ripken Stadium gates, as well as a post-game fireworks display.
