Iowa Wolves Announce Details for Iowa State Fair Day Presented by Landus

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves today announced details for its first-ever Iowa State Fair Day presented by Landus which will take place on Sunday, Jan. 15 against the Memphis Hustle. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. and the game will be broadcast nationally on NBA TV.

"We're so excited to share all of these enjoyable and classic activities celebrating our iconic Iowa State Fair," said Ryan Grant, President of the Iowa Wolves. "We're thrilled to bring a taste of the Iowa State Fair in the middle of winter to our fans and the support from Landus Cooperative is allowing us to bring this to life in a very special and memorable way."

"Celebrating the iconic and historic Iowa State Fair within the excitement of a national televised NBA G League Iowa Wolves game is a perfect opportunity for Landus to showcase agriculture and the great career opportunities our industry offers," said Matt Carstens, President and CEO of Landus. "This is an event for the whole family and the only place you will be able to find Fair food, games, and butter sculptures in January. The Wolves tip off their Iowa State Fair game on January 15, 2023 and 207 days later the 2023 Iowa State Fair tips off their 11 day run."

In addition to the action on the court against the Hustle, Iowa State Fair Day presented by Landus will include the following:

A special ticket package available for purchase that includes four tickets for just $15

Free trucker hats to the first 1,000 fans in the door

Corn dogs, funnel cakes and smoothies will be 50% off during the whole game

Butter sculpting display and demonstration by Sarah Pratt

Iowa State Fair mascot Fairfield and Rosetta photo opportunities

Fun giveaways in the Landus booth in the north concourse with information about career opportunities

Baby goat petting zoo

And more Iowa State Fair fun with additional giveaways and activations throughout the game
