Iowa Wolves Acquire Two Players from the NBA G League Player Pool

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves, the NBA G League Affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, announced today that the team has selected guard Isaiah Briscoe and guard Jaylen Morris from the G League player pool.

Briscoe (6-3, 210), played in 39 games for the Orlando Magic during the 2018-19 season, holding averages of 3.5 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 14.3 minutes per game. Prior to his time in the NBA, the Newark, N.J. native played two seasons for the University of Kentucky, holding career averages of 10.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 70 career games (69 starts).

Morris (6-6, 195), has played in 10 career NBA games with the Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks, averaging 3.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 12.7 minutes of play. Additionally, he has played in 72 NBA G League games (68 starts) with the Erie Bayhawks and the Wisconsin Herd, with career averages of 13.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 33.2 minutes of action.

The Iowa Wolves have added Briscoe and Morris to round out their roster to eight active players for tonight's contest against the Long Island Nets.

It was announced earlier today that five players from the Iowa Wolves were suspended for violating the NBA G League COVID protocols.
