Iowa Wolves News Release
Des Moines, IA January 27, 2014 - The Iowa Energy have partnered with LSI (Lutheran Services in Iowa) as part of the Wells Fargo Big Assist program. The Energy will wear uniquely branded jerseys with the LSI logo and the Wells Fargo logo, as well as the Energy logo. The jerseys are used to generate awareness and create a unique marketing opportunity for the organization.
LSI is one of Iowa's largest human services agencies and impacts tens of thousands of Iowans annually through child abuse prevention, services for families and youth in crisis, services for people with disabilities, and refugee services.
"We cannot do this without support from our community and we're grateful for this partnership with the Iowa Energy and Wells Fargo," says Jason Lee, LSI advancement officer. "Every donation assures that families, children, and individuals across Iowa will continue to have the programs and services they need to be successful."
The agency is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, with services beginning in 1864 when a Lutheran congregation opened a home for orphans during the Civil War. Today, LSI has 25 offices throughout the state and programs in each of Iowa's 99 counties.
Select jerseys will be available via closed bid auction at the LSI table during the game, with all proceeds benefitting LSI and their mission.
The Energy will face central division rival Sioux Falls Skyforce at 7 pm on February 1st.
Tickets can be purchased at the Wells Fargo Arena box office, online at lsiowa.org/energy, or by calling the Energy office at 564-8550.
