Erie, Pennsylvania, Monday, January 27 - The Erie BayHawks released guard Nick Covington following yesterday's game against Iowa.
Covington (6-2, 200, Oklahoma City) appeared in eight games for Erie, averaging 7.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. Last season, he played in 47 games for the BayHawks after he was acquired in a trade with the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
The BayHawks return to action on Friday night in Springfield when they face the Armor at 7 pm.
