
Intimidators Drop Series Finale 5-2 In Hagerstown

Hagerstown, MD - The Intimidators received a two-run home run in the third inning from Luis Sierra to jump in front 2-0, but five unanswered runs from Hagerstown gave the Suns a 5-2 win to take the series three games to one over Kannapolis.
Intimidators starter Anthony Carter gave up four runs on seven hits (both season-highs) over six innings. He took the loss to fall to 4-1 on the year.
Kannapolis managed only four base hits in the game. Sierra lifted his second home run of the season. Christian Marrero, Danny Jordan and Sergio Morales joined in to provide base knocks.
For Hagerstown, Aaron Suess hit two home runs to provide the bulk of the offense in the win.
The Intimidators head to Salisbury, MD tonight to face the Shorebirds in a series opener tomorrow night at 7:05pm. Kannapolis returns to Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium Saturday against Hagerstown to begin a four-game homestand.
