Inter Miami CF announced the final friendly of its historic 2024 preseason schedule, with the Club set to play in the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas' Fair Park, Texas against MLS foe FC Dallas on Monday, Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. ET. The announcement wraps up a never-seen-before tour for an MLS team, as the exciting six-week preseason will feature Inter Miami matches in El Salvador, Texas, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong and Tokyo before concluding with a game at DRV PNK Stadium ahead of the team's thrilling fifth season.
"We are pleased to be able to play in a historic venue like the Cotton Bowl as part of our 2024 preseason preparations," said Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director Chris Henderson. "This match against FC Dallas will provide us with a great test against MLS opposition ahead of our fifth season for Inter Miami. We're looking forward to making this our most memorable campaign yet."
"We're excited to have secured the final match of what will be a historic preseason for Inter Miami and MLS. We're proud to embark on this journey that no other team in league history has experienced, and look forward to captivating our worldwide fan base with our 2024 preseason tour. The Club previously announced a match against the El Salvador national team on Jan. 19, as well an international tour with two matches in the Riyadh Season Cup in Saudi Arabia - on Jan. 29 against Al-Hilal and Feb. 1 against Al Nassr - a match in Hong Kong against the Hong Kong Team on Feb 4, a match in Tokyo against J1 League champions Vissel Kobe on Feb. 7, and a preseason match at DRV PNK Stadium against Argentine outfit Newell's Old Boys on Feb. 15.
