Myrtle Beach Pelicans News Release
The Chicago Cubs have announced the following roster move affecting the Myrtle Beach Pelicans:
-INF David Bote has been activated from the 7-day disabled list and assigned to Triple-A Iowa.
Bote played in six games this season with Myrtle Beach. The Colorado native hit .238/.304/.476 with two doubles, one home run and three RBIs. He missed 19 games on the disabled list. Last season, Bote batted .251/.328/.384 with six homers and 41 RBIs in 101 games with Low-A South Bend.
The Pelicans' roster sits at 25 active players, with three players on the disabled list.
