Potomac Nationals News Release
Despite a late-inning rally, the Potomac Nationals (21-18) dropped last night's series opener to the Frederick Keys (19-22) 4-3. With Lynchburg's dramatic win over Myrtle Beach, the P-Nats now sit a season high six games out of first place in the Northern Division.
Looking to level the series, Potomac will send RHP Erick Fedde (2-3, 6.62) to the mound in search of his second straight win. Opposite Fedde, LHP John Means (4-0, 2.09) looks to remain perfect for the Keys. Means struck out a season high 10 in his long start, a no-decision vs. the P-Nats two starts ago.
First pitch of the series opener at Harry Grove Stadium is set for 6:00pm in Frederick, MD.
