
INF Austin Fisher and C Daniel Salters Promoted

Mahoning Valley Scrappers News Release
Niles, Ohio - Catcher Daniel Salters and Infielder Austin Fisher have both been promoted through the Cleveland Indians organization.
Daniel Salters has been promoted to the Class A Lynchburg Hillcats. In 47 games for Mahoning Valley this season, Salters hit .279 with two home runs and 26 RBI's. Salters only committed five errors in 39 games behind the plate. Salters threw out 54% of baserunners. He represented the Scrappers at the 2015 New York-Penn League All-Star Game in Aberdeen.
The Indians selected the 22-year-old catcher in the 13th round of the 2015 Draft out of Dallas
Baptist. Salters adds not only an offensive boost for the Hillcats, but also is strong defensively. Salters will help the Hillcats in their upcoming playoff run.
Infielder Austin Fisher has been promoted to Class A Lake County. In 50 games for the Scrappers, Fisher hit .251 with 16 RBI's. Fisher has mainly been used as a utility player, and has started a game at all four infield positions. Fisher hit .327 Post All-Star, and has adapted nicely to playing first base.
Fisher was Cleveland's 13th round pick of the 2014 Draft out of Kansas State.
