Indianapolis Indians News Release
INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance and the Indianapolis Indians have announced a new partnership which makes the Indianapolis-based insurer the "Official Insurance Provider of the Indianapolis Indians." The partnership will commence with the start of the Indians season on Thursday, April 7, 2011.
The partnership is part of the roll out of Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance's new advertising campaign. The Indians sponsorship will aim to encourage fans to be more knowledgeable about the type of insurance coverage they have.
"The Indianapolis Indians have provided affordable, family fun for 125 years and Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance has worked for more than 75 years to protect Hoosier families," said Thomas J. Faulconer, Senior Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer, Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance. "This new partnership provides an important element of our marketing and advertising campaigns, creating increased visibility for our name and brand in communities throughout the state of Indiana."
The partnership includes in-park signage, commercials during all 72 Indians game telecasts on Comcast and Bright House Networks and an interactive game element. Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance will sponsor each "insurance run" the Indians score this season when the Tribe advances an existing lead during the 7th, 8th or 9th inning of the game.
"We are proud to have such a highly-regarded organization as Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance as a partner with the Indianapolis Indians," said Indians Vice President and General Manager Cal Burleson. "Our organizations share a mutual commitment to the well-being of Indiana and its residents."
The Indians continue the opening homestand of the 125th consecutive season of professional baseball in Indianapolis with home contests through Friday, April 15. Tickets are on sale now at www.IndyIndians.com and the Victory Field box office.
