IceHogs Announce Schedule and Details for Stanley Cup Night
November 12, 2015 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Rockford IceHogs News Release
Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs are proud to host the Stanley Cup at the BMO Harris Bank Center on Sunday, Nov. 22, when the Lake Erie Monsters come to town for a 4 p.m. game. The IceHogs anticipate a large crowd, and encourage all fans to plan accordingly.
Doors to the BMO will open for Season Ticket Holders at 1 p.m. at the Season Ticket Holder Entrance on Chestnut St. People who purchased the special VIP Ticket plan will be granted access to the building at 2 p.m. through the entrance off Main St. located underneath the stairwell. General admission will begin an hour before puck drop, at 3 p.m.
The Stanley Cup will be displayed for fans to pose with for photos on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Hog Heaven Party Deck. Other trophies on display include the Conn Smythe Trophy (Playoff MVP - Duncan Keith), the Jennings Trophy (Fewest Goals Against by Team - Corey Crawford/Carey Price), the Messier Leadership Award (Superior Leader - Jonathan Toews), and the Clarence S. Campbell Cup (Western Conference Champion - Chicago Blackhawks).
In order to accommodate as many fans as possible, each individual or group will be allowed one photo with the Stanley Cup, either from a personal image capturing device (such as a cell phone) or from a professional photographer provided by the IceHogs. Those who elect to use the professional photographer will be able to download their photos within a few days of the event for a small fee, with a portion of the proceeds going to the IceHogs Charitable Foundation.
Event parking will open at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22. For a parking map, click here. A ticket to the game does not guarantee a chance to see or get a photo taken with the Stanley Cup. Fans will only be allowed to get in line one time to see the Cup. The first 2,500 fans in attendance will also receive a commemorative Blackhawks Stanley Cup poster featuring the 13 former IceHogs who were part of Chicago's 2015 championship team, courtesy of Hub Printing.
