IceGators Take Game One

Arkansas RiverBlades News Release
Kyle Kettles made 22 saves to lead the Louisiana IceGators to a 2-0 victory over the Arkansas RiverBlades Wednesday in Game One of the Southwest Division Semi-Finals.
Andrew Proskurnicki opened up the scoring with a power-play goal at 11:24 of the second period, assisted by Bobby Brown and Martin Bartek.
Shawn McNeil then added his first of the playoffs at 9:42 of the third period, from John DePourcq and Kyle Kettles to set the final.
Scott Fankhouser made 45 saves in net for Arkansas, but took the tough loss.
Louisiana outshot Arkansas 47-22 in the game, and the Gators were 1-for-3 on the power-play. The RiverBlades were 0-for-3 on the man advantage.
The same two teams meet tomorrow night in Lafayette for Game Two, then come to the Alltel Arena for Game 3 on Saturday night. Faceoff will be at 7:05.
