Athletic Trainer/Equipment Manager Scott Allison to Help Out Mallards During the Post Season
Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce that Athletic Trainer/Equipment Manager Scott Allison will join the Quad City Mallards as Equipment Manager for the playoffs. Allison will replace Jim Chesnut, who left the Mallards organization earlier in the week.
"One of our member teams needed assistance, and we were able to help," said General Manager Paul Pickard. "Besides developing players, it's also my job as General Manager to help develop all employees within the organization, and I feel this opportunity will benefit Scott."
Allison tenure with the Mallards will be just for the post season. Quad City starts their run for a UHL record fourth Colonial Cup on Thursday, when they host the Rockford IceHogs in game 1 of the best of 5 series.
For more information regarding Scott Allison joining the Mallards for the playoffs, contact Mike Modugno, Director of Public Relations and Broadcaster at (269) 349-9772, extension 220.
