St. John's IceCaps News Release

Gm. 7: Fri., Oct. 25 STJ 3 at MCH 2
Jason Jaffray's tally in the middle frame stood up as the game-winner as the St. John's IceCaps hung on to beat the first place Manchester Monarchs Friday at Verizon Wireless Arena. Carl Klingberg and Andrew Gordon also scored for the IceCaps while Eric O'Dell notched two assists . Eddie Pasquale got win number three with a 25-save performance.
Gm. 8: Sat., Oct. 26 MCH 5 vs STJ 3
The St. John's IceCaps staged a spirited comeback at the Verizon Wireless Arena, scoring three in the third after trailing 4-0. The IceCaps drew within one before Tanner Pearson scored a late insurance goal. Brenden Kichton, Andrew Gordon and Kael Mouillierat scored for St. John's. Jussi Olkinuora turned aside 26 shots in his second start of the season.
Gm. 9: Sun., Oct. 27 PRO 5 vs STJ 2
Playing their third game in less than 72 hours, the IceCaps lost to the Bruins Sunday afternoon at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, RI. For St. John's, Eddie Pasquale stopped 35-of-39 shots in a terrific effort. Jason Jaffray and Eric O'Dell scored in a losing cause.
MARY BROWN'S HARDEST WORKING PLAYER
O'Connor Gets the Call: The IceCaps signed F Ian O'Connor to a professional tryout contract last week. The 26-year-old had been playing with the Reading Royals of the ECHL. The New Hampshire native made his IceCaps debut against his hometown Manchester Monarchs in the first game of a two-game set and picked up his first career AHL assist in the second contest.
Fredheim dons IceCaps duds: Kris Fredheim (+2, 1 shot) made his IceCaps debut in their 3-2 win over Manchester. Fredheim had missed the first six games with a lower body injury but suited up for all three games this weekend.
New jersey en route to St. John's:
The IceCaps announced last week they will unveil a third jersey on Friday, Nov. 8 to be worn at home on various occasions throughout the season. Starting today (Monday, October 28th ), the IceCaps will release one photo a day on Instagram (http://instagram.com/stjohnsicecaps) to give hints about what the jersey will look like. Fans are encouraged to "like" and share the IceCaps fan page on Facebook with others. If the IceCaps reach 20,000 fans, images and details regarding the entire uniform design will be released early and replica jerseys will be made available for purchase, prior to November 8th.
The official hashtag of the reveal is #IceCapsReveal.
