ST. JOHN'S, NL - The St. John's IceCaps bested the AHL's top club with a 3-1 win over the Toronto Marlies at Mile One Centre on a snowy Saturday night.

After surrendering the opening goal 3:03 into the game, the IceCaps settled down and scored three straight from Max Friberg, Charles Hudon and Bud Holloway (empty-netter). Zach Fucale stopped 32-of-33 shots in yet another stellar performance.
