
ICE Sign Jonas Woo to WHL Standard Players Agreement

The Winnipeg ICE are pleased to announce the signing of defenseman Jonas Woo, selected 18th overall in the first round of yesterday's 2021 WHL Prospects Draft, to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
The 5'9", 150 pound blue liner, from Winnipeg, has 18 points (3 goals and 15 assists) and 26 penalty minutes in 21 games with the Winnipeg Bruins in the Manitoba AAA U18 Hockey League.
Woo was named to the All Star Team at the 2021 WHL Cup where in five games he had two assists and four penalty minutes.
Last season with the Winnipeg Warriors U15 AAA team, he registered 12 points (five goals and seven assists) in five games.
The ICE return to action tomorrow (Saturday) night at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena vs the Edmonton Oil Kings on Teddy Bear Toss Night presented by Manitoba Building Trades. Purchase your tickets HERE.
When the ICE score their first goal, fans are invited to throw a teddy bear on the ice to celebrate. Teddy bears must be secured in their original packaging or inside a plastic bag. Teddy bears will be collected and donated to the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.
