PENSACOLA, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots and Escambia County Commissioners reached a tentative agreement in principle for a revised long term lease agreement to play professional hockey in the Pensacola Civic Center.

"I am very pleased with the outcome of the revised lease agreement," said Ice Pilots Governor Mario Forgione. "Everyone worked hard on this project and the result is a winning situation for the many fans and corporate partners of professional hockey in Pensacola."

The Ice Pilots have played in Pensacola since 1996 and are currently in their 12th season in playing at the Pensacola Civic Center. The Ice Pilots are one of the five longest continuous running teams in the ECHL, the premiere double 'A' hockey league across North America.

It is Teddy Bear Toss Night and the Marines will be collecting toys for Toys for Tots. 2007-2008 Season Tickets, Mini Plans, and Military Packages are still available through the Ice Pilots office.
