
Bakersfield's Derlago Suspended One Game, Fined

The ECHL announced that it suspended Bakersfield left wing Mark Derlago for
one game and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in
ECHL Game #279 against Fresno on Dec. 12.
At 3:41 of the first period, Derlago was assessed a game misconduct penalty
under Rule 44.5 Checking from Behind.
Derlago is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and
the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the
ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Derlago will miss Bakersfield's game at Stockton (Dec. 14).
