Winnipeg Ice News Release
Connor McClennon's team leading 34th goal of the season and three assists propelled the Winnipeg ICE to a 6-2 victory Friday night in Medicine Hat over the Tigers.
Zach Benson added a pair of goals while singles came from Chase Wheatcroft, Mikey Milne and Conor Geekie.
Daniel Hauser made 15 of 17 saves as the ICE improved their record to 34-8-2-1.
Bogdans Hodass and Oasiz Wiesblatt replied for Medicine Hat (9-35-3-1), who have now lost nine straight games.
Garin Bjorklund stopped 30 of 36 shots in goal for the Tigers.
Winnipeg finished the game 3/5 on the power play. Medicine Hat went 1/2.
The ICE now set their sights on the Swift Current Broncos for games Saturday and Sunday in Saskatchewan. Both games start at 7:00 Central time (6:30 pregame show on CFRW 1290).
