Pensacola Ice Flyers News Release

PENSACOLA, FL. (February 11, 2014) - The Pensacola Ice Flyers and Cordova Lanes will hold the second annual Pensacola Ice Flyers and Cordova Lanes Pro-Am Bowling Tournament on Sunday, Feb. 23 from 2 to 6 p.m. There will be multiple raffles and auctions and all proceeds from the event will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

The cost of registration is $60 for a team of four bowlers and $15 for each additional bowler up to a team of seven. These prices include shoe rental. Fans can reserve the right to bowl with a specific player during an hour and a half long session for just $10 on a first-come, first served basis.

Following the player bowling session, three of the Ice Flyers will compete against two of the Cordova Lanes pro bowlers in a Power Play Challenge. Fans will be able to purchase a raffle ticket and place it in the pot of which team they think will win the Power Play Challenge and we'll draw a ticket from the winning team's pot and that fan will win a prize.

From 4-5 p.m., there will be a free bowl session where fans will have a chance to socialize with the players. Following the free bowl session, the winners of the raffles and auctioned items will be announced.

As a side game during the event, there will be two lanes set up where fans can bowl with a hockey stick for one frame with one warm up shot. Prizes will be awarded to anyone who gets a strike.

There will be a table set up at the Ice Flyers' upcoming games on Feb. 14, 15, 16, and 20 where fans can sign up and reserve their spot at the event.

Anyone interested in lane sponsorship can contact the Pensacola Ice Flyers office at 850 466 3111. Cost of a lane sponsorship will be $100.
