Ice Flyers Fall 5-1 to the Storm

PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Pensacola Ice Flyers fell to the Quad City Storm 5-1 in the second game of the weekend. The Ice Flyers goal was scored by Tanner Froese. Dalton Mills, Mitchell Mueller, Ludlow Harris Jr., Austin Hervey and Taylor McCloy scored for Quad City.

Dalton Mills scored the first goal of the game at 5:08. He was assisted by Mitchell Mueller and Taylor McCloy. Tanner Froese answered for Pensacola 51 seconds later with a power play goal assisted by Ryan Marcuz and Jesse Kessler. At 14:23 on the power play, Mitchell Mueller put the Storm one up over the Ice Flyers. The assists came from Austin Hervey and Cody Walsh.

50 seconds into the second, Ludlow Harris Jr. scored an unassisted goal for Quad City. On the power player a little over four minutes later, Austin Hervey made it 4-1. He was assisted by Mitchell Mueller and Taylor McCloy.

Quad City wrapped up the game with an unassisted, empty net goal from Taylor McCloy at 17:34 in the third. The Ice Flyers outshot Quad City 42 to 24 overall.

NOTES:

Fans who were in attendance for the game held on Friday, November 16 are encouraged to hold on to their tickets. SMG is going to provide a voucher for a free food item or non-alcoholic beverage. Fans can redeem this voucher at the Pensacola Bay Center Box Office starting on Monday, November 19. This voucher will be valid for any Ice Flyers regular season game for the 2018-19 season beginning with the game on Wednesday, November 21.
