ICE Edge Oil Kings in Shootout

Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE defeated the Edmonton Oil Kings 5-4 in a shootout at Western Financial Place on Friday.

The ICE gave up a late goal with five seconds remaining in the third period, which took the game into overtime and later a shootout. ICE forward Peyton Krebs was the only player to score in the shootout, giving his team the 5-4 victory.

ICE forward Jaeger White registered two points (1G, 1A) and received the first star of the game, while Peyton Krebs collected two assists. Goaltender Duncan McGovern stopped 24-of-28 shots.
