Last Weeks Highlights:

4/22/05 > Long Beach 1 vs. Alaska 2 (OT)

In Game 1 of the West Division Finals, the Ice Dogs fell to the Aces in overtime. Long Beach scored first with a goal by Evan Cheverie on a two man advantage, before Alaska tied it in the second period. After a scoreless third period, the Aces' Ryan Bast scored just three minutes into the overtime to take the first game. Sebastien Centomo made 30 saves in the loss.

4/23/05 > Long Beach 2 vs. Alaska 4

With Dan Watson, Marco Rosa and Sebastien Centomo all out with a severe case of the flu, the shorthanded Ice Dogs dropped Game 2 of the best-of-five series Saturday night. David Walker and Evan Cheverie both scored for Long Beach, which now must win three in a row in Alaska to win the series. Olivier Michaud made his first start of the playoffs in goal for the Ice Dogs making 21 saves in the loss.

The West Division Finals will shift to Alaska tonight as the Ice Dogs will try to fend of elimination. Currently the Aces have a 2-0 series lead after winning both games in Long Beach last weekend.

4/28/05 > Long Beach @ Alaska (if necessary)

If the Ice Dogs win on Monday night, Game 4 of the West Division Finals will be played on Thursday in Alaska.

4/29/05 > Long Beach @ Alaska (if necessary)

If the series is tied after Thursday's game, the deciding Game 5 will be played on Friday night in Alaska to determine the West Division Champion.
