Bakersfield, Calif. – Nolan Graham scored four times and the Long Beach Ice Dogs had four power play goals in a 7-4 win over the Bakersfield Condors in front of 3,554 fans at Centennial Garden on Sunday afternoon.

Long Beach scored early and often in this one, taking the 1-0 lead just 31 seconds into the game. Graham pounced on two rebounds in the first period that led to goals. The first came in the opening minute, the second came on a two-man advantage just past the midway point of the first period. In between them, Jason Ralph notched his 23rd of the season on a penalty shot awarded at 9:03.

Graham recorded the hat trick 53 seconds into the second period to make it 3-1 Ice Dogs. The Condors surged back to tie the game, however, with Todd Alexander and Paul Rosebush both scoring to make it 3-3 at the midway point of the game. The Ice Dogs kept coming, though, and scored two more times on the power play in the second period to emerge with a two-goal lead, 5-3. Alex Kim scored at 11:38 and Graham added his fourth with just 1:05 left in the frame.

Kevin McDonald and Ralph exchanged third period goals as the Ice Dogs maintained their advantage into the final minute of play. That's when Nick Ganga scored an empty-net goal to seal the win on the Dogs last trip of the season into Centennial Garden. Joe Watkins suffered the loss between the pipes for the Condors, who are now 2-4 under new head coach Marty Raymond. They maintain a three point lead over Long Beach for fifth place in the Pacific Division.
