
Sirois sets milestone as Pride win second straight

FLORENCE, SC -- Allan Sirois scored two goals to set two milestones as the Florence Pride defeated the Charlotte Checkers 6-1 Sunday afternoon at the Florence Civic Center.
Sirois' first goal of the afternoon, 11:06 into the second period, was the 200th of his ECHL career.
His second of the game, and 11th of the season, at 16:11 of the third was his 149th in a Pride sweater, breaking the team career record previously held by Dany Bosuquet.
Mark McRae (1g 2a) and Josh Piro (1g 1a) both had multiple-point games as well. Piro now has six points in five games with the Pride.
The Pride are back in action Tuesday at Greenville.
In other news, Pride goaltender Matt Underhill made his NHL debut Sunday afternoon with the Chicago Blackhawks against the Edmonton Oilers.
