
Ice Dogs Open Training Camp October 8

Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release
LONG BEACH, Calif. â The Long Beach Ice Dogs announced today that the club will open training camp on Friday, October 8th, in preparation for the 2004-05 ECHL season.
Ice Dogs players are officially due to report on Thursday, October 7th for an orientation meeting and physicals. The Ice Dogs will take the ice beginning Friday, October 8th, at Glacial Gardens in Lakewood (3975 Pixie St., 562-429-1805).
Practices at Glacial Gardens are open to the public, free of charge, and will go until October 13th, when the Ice Dogs will begin training at the Long Beach Arena.
Highlighting the preseason is a home exhibition game against the San Diego Gulls on Friday, October 15th, at 7:30 p.m. at Glacial Gardens. Season ticket holders may purchase tickets for $3, and non-season ticket holders may purchase them for $5. Tickets are on a first come first served basis and are available day of game at Glacial Gardens in Lakewood.
The Ice Dogs will also play the Gulls Sunday, October 17th, at 6 p.m. at the San Diego Ice Arena in Mira Mesa (11048 Ice Skate Place, 858-530-1825). Fans can contact the Ice Arena for ticket information.
Season tickets for the 2004-2005 season are on sale now in all price ranges. The Ice Dogs are guaranteeing the playoffs or season ticket holders will receive a $50 rebate on each seat purchased.
